Probate, Wills and Trusts
It is vital that consideration should be given to the making of a Will whether you are single, cohabiting, married or in a civil partnership. In the event of death without a Will then the intestacy rules apply and in those circumstances your Estate may pass in a way which you would not wish. For example the death of someone with a wife and children who has not made a will could result in the family home having to be sold to provide monies due to the children under the intestacy rules.
We can provide you with tax planning advice as well as general advice with regard to the appointment of the executives, guardians for children and other factors which need to be taken into account.
The probate department headed by Colin Pinnell - with many years of experience – will provide all assistance and advice in connection with Wills as well as dealing with the administration of estates.
