Domestic Conveyancing
Partner Robert Cooles heads the property department and, with the assistance of Katie Minishull-Beech and Shirley Lewald (trainee solicitor), deals with all domestic conveyancing matters for both Leasehold and Freehold property. We aim to provide a personal service and to give accurate quotations for costs and all other payments from the outset.
The department has an excellent reputation amongst the local community and is a panel member for all the major mortgage providers. We can thus act for the lender as well as the buyers.
There is now the necessity to provide a Home Information Pack (HIP) when the property is marketed and some Estate Agents will assist in this aspect. It should always be borne in mind that the HIP if obtained by an estate agent will not necessarily be portable should the seller change Estate Agents. If requested to provide a HIP we will use one provided by the Law Society and will only pass on what we are charged.
